Meet the Coach

I am Jaime Verdin, the Director of Training and Operations at Futbol Training Center, and I bring a rich tapestry of experience and achievements to my coaching. I graduated from Northwest Nazarene University with a degree in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in athletic training, laying a strong academic foundation for my coaching philosophy.

At the young age of 15, I had the honor of playing for the U-15 Mexican National team, an experience that shaped my understanding of the game at an elite level. My passion for soccer also took me to Madrid, Spain, where I played in the 3rd division, further honing my skills and appreciation for global soccer cultures.

Before stepping into my current role, I coached at various organizations, ranging from youth to college levels. I served as a coach for Chula Vista FC and Las Vegas Players Soccer Club, focusing on developing talent in both the boys’ and girls’ divisions across multiple age groups. I have also been offering soccer personal training across various states in the U.S. for over 8 years, allowing me to work one-on-one with players to fast-track their development.

During my academic career, I was recognized for my athletic prowess, receiving First Team All-Conference honors both at Arizona Western College and at Northwest Nazarene University. These accolades underline my commitment to excellence both on and off the field.
